HYRO was successful in the UK’s first Hydrogen Allocation Round with Project Northfleet. HYRO uses the experience gained in Northfleet to ensure the successful development of its upcoming projects.
HYRO was also successful in the UK’s second Hydrogen Allocation Round (HAR2) supplying hydrogen for an e-SAF project.
One of the first HAR1 projects to reach financial close
HYRO won one of the first subsidy contracts awarded in the UK for Project Northfleet through the UK Government’s Hydrogen Allocation Round 1. Only 10 projects were awarded contracts in a 125MW batch.
Project Northfleet is also one of the first HAR1 projects to have reached financial close. The project remains on track to reach its scheduled Commercial Operation Date.
Project Northfleet was developed by HYRO and will be taken through construction and operation by Octopus Energy Generation and HYRO
